Giant Tiger

Wow! This was my first time doing groceries at Giant Tiger since years ago at the old location when I lived in an apartment nearby. I had heard some good things about the grocery department since the new location and since the pandemic so I had some extra time today and I'm glad I checked it out. I was able to get everything I needed on my list and they even had some of the Vegan Gluten-free items I needed! To top it all off, my total bill was quite a bit less, I saved so much and I'm not even a VIP member yet. I will be joining the VIP as well as getting my groceries here more often! Thank you Giant Tiger and thank you to the lady who served me, she was so helpful and just so kind that it was refreshing to have a good experience. She even made a little boys day who checked out before me by giving him a pair of much needed Sun glasses today! I wish I got her name-Register 2 with long wavy hair-You were awesome today, thank you. The washrooms are convenient and clean too.

Had issues with cashier. Did not want to bag groceries unless you buy their bags. Using Coavid as an excuse but she had no mask, no shield and no available hand sanitizer in the whole store.

4 self-check cash machines, 2 cashiersdisappointing and sad.People need jobs, I don't want machines. I want people to work and earn. I want communication with people. The world has already begun to isolate itself enough !How long will people without brains and thinking accept everything that is served to us.I will patiently continue to wait in line and that will be my contribution and donation so that people do not lose their jobs and are not replaced by machines !!! I buy my fresh produce there every week, as well as my eggs: top quality, best prices in town, and a quick in and out experience. Also buying more and more of my clothes there now (even found 'petites' pants recently!). And GT's selection of drape panels is unmatched!

Staff has always been friendly and they keep in stock what I expect

I would like to say this store has exceptional staff. Anytime I visit this store the employees are above and beyond kind polite and helpful. I would like to especially name Laurel, Jessica and manager Carrie.The staff here as always made it a pleasant experience to shop with giant tiger.
